The Philadelphia Flyers found another way to win last night and it's easy to say they couldn't have done it without R.J. Umberger.

Umberger scored two goals last night during the Flyers 4-2 win against Montreal, which gives Philly a 3-1 series lead. Umberger has been instrumental in the series as he has scored the game's first goal in three of the four games against Montreal. "When they're pressuring us that hard and you turn around and get the first goal, that's got to hit them right in the heart," Umberger said. "Those first goals have been huge."

For the playoffs, Umberger has scored seven goals, six of them against Montreal. The seven goals are good for second in the league overall. Philly coach John Stevens has shuffled Umberger around the lineup quite a bit, but was quick to compliment the third year winger. "R.J. has been terrific,'' Stevens said. "R.J. deserves a lot of credit. He's a man without a home, really. I move him all over the place and I do it for the good of the team. That's what makes him so valuable...R.J. has really stepped it up."

In just his third year, Umberger set a career high with 50 points this season and is looking to continue his postseason success. A local kid from Pennsylvania, Umberger and his teammates will be looking to send Philly into the Eastern Conference Finals when they take to the ice on Saturday up in Montreal.
