With the Bruins facing a win or go home scenario on Saturday night, Phil Kessel turned in arguably his best performance of his young career.
Kessel scored 2 goals, the first of which was one of the sickest moves you will see, as he beat the defenseman and then fired home the goal to tie the game at one. His second goal put the Bruins up 4-3 in the third period, as the B's would go on to win 5-4 and force a series deciding Game 7 on Monday night up in Montreal.
Kessel has now scored 3 goals in his last 2 games, and has points in all three playoffs games in which he has played.
"The way he's played the last two games has been unreal," Bruins coach Claude Julien said.
Kessel will certainly be looking to keep up his recent spectacular play when the puck drops on Game 7.
